Antigal Winery
Maipu, Mendoza Province, Argentina
Originally built in 1897, this family-owned, 56,000 square foot winery has been meticulously renovated by the acclaimed architectural firm of Bormida & Yanzon. Just on the outskirts of downtown Mendoza, it is at the heart of Argentina's finest wine-producing region. The original colonial style architecture has been combined with the latest winemaking technology from France, including the complete use of natural gravity instead of damaging pumps and filters. Likewise, all fermentation tanks are stainless steel while all aging barrels are imported French oak.
